The scholarship is presented to an MBA student entering second year with a specialization in Finance and outstanding academic achievement. The DeGroote School of Business MBA program at McMaster University is located at the Ron Joyce Centre in Burlington, Ontario.

The scholarship is awarded annually on the recommendation of the Dean of the Sprott School of Business to a student entering the third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of International Business degree with a specialization in Finance. Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Carleton University offers programs of study in areas as diverse as public affairs, journalism, engineering, and international studies.

The annual bursary supported students entering first year at the University of King’s College with a demonstrated financial need. Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the University of King’s College is Canada’s oldest chartered university and is known nationally and internationally for its interdisciplinary programmes in the humanities and journalism.

Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the University of Winnipeg offers undergraduate programs in the faculties of art, business and economics, education, science and kinesiology, as well as graduate programs. It is noted for Indigenous scholarship, environmental commitment, small class sizes, and campus diversity.

Located in Kitchener, Ontario, HopeSpring is an independent community organization committed to empowering those whose lives are impacted by cancer to improve their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. The centre offers information, emotional support, and the tools needed for empowerment, personal growth and self-help.
